Insurance Specialist

Job Summary

Focused on resolving insurance processing errors and denials, the full-time remote Insurance Specialist will manage claims inventory, interact with patients and insurance companies, and ensure accurate billing and payment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reduce outstanding accounts receivable by managing claims inventory
• Gather and verify patient information, including insurance eligibility and financial responsibility
• Provide excellent customer service and timely responses to inquiries regarding benefits, billing, and claims

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2+ years of Denials Management experience
• 2+ years of Medical Billing/Follow-up experience
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payors
• Proficiency with PC-based applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)
