Insurance Specialist

Job Summary

To support the resolution of insurance claims, the full-time Insurance Specialist will work remotely to identify and resolve claims denials and processing errors using proprietary software and client systems.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve unpaid or denied claims through software, phone calls, and correspondence
• Review medical documentation to determine appropriate actions for claim resolution
• Maintain familiarity with client preferences and meet monthly production and quality expectations

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of physician and/or hospital accounts receivable experience preferred
• Knowledge of UB04 claim forms, EOBs, and medical records preferred
• Experience with Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or other EMR systems preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
