Insurance Specialist

Job Summary

To resolve hospital and physician billing challenges, the full-time remote Insurance Specialist will manage claims inventory, communicate with patients and insurance companies, and ensure accurate and timely payments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reduce outstanding accounts receivable by managing claims inventory
• Gather and verify patient and insurance information for billing and claims processes
• Provide excellent customer service regarding benefits, billing, and payment inquiries

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2+ years of Denials Management experience
• 2+ years of Medical Billing/Follow-up experience
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payors
• Proficiency with PC-based applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)
