Insurance Specialist - Claims Resolution

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Specialist (Physician Claims Follow Up).

Key Responsibilities

• Resolve unpaid/denied claims using proprietary software, phone calls, and client systems
• Review medical documentation to determine the appropriate course of action for claim resolution
• Maintain familiarity with client preferences and meet monthly production and quality expectations

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of physician (CMS1500) accounts receivable experience preferred
• Knowledge of UB04/CMS 1500 claim forms, EOBs, and medical records preferred
• At least one year of experience with Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or other EMR systems preferred
• Basic knowledge of computer functions and ability to work effectively in a remote environment
