Job Summary

To support clinical trials, the remote Insurance Specialist for Clinical Trials will verify insurance policy benefits, obtain authorizations for non-covered services, and ensure high levels of customer service for patients and team members.

Key responsibilities

• Verify hospital and professional insurance policy benefits for clinical trial patients and enter information into the system
• Review billing grids to determine authorization needs for upcoming services and request necessary authorizations
• Serve as a liaison between patients and support staff, ensuring effective communication and support throughout the process

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 2 years of related experience
• 1+ years of healthcare experience working with insurance and authorizations
