Insurance Specialist, Hospital AR

Job Summary

To support the resolution of unpaid and denied claims, the full-time Insurance Specialist, Hospital AR will work remotely to identify and address claims denials and processing errors while utilizing proprietary software and reviewing medical documentation.

Key responsibilities:

• Resolve unpaid/denied claims through various methods including phone calls and accessing client systems
• Review medical documentation such as UB04 claim forms and EOBs to determine appropriate actions for claim resolution
• Maintain familiarity with client preferences and meet monthly production and quality expectations

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of physician and/or hospital accounts receivable experience preferred
• Familiarity with UB04 claim forms, EOBs, and medical records preferred
• Experience with Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or other EMR systems preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
