Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Statutory Accountant to manage statutory reporting and compliance in a growing insurance environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and file statutory financial statements in compliance with SAP, GAAP, and state regulations
  • Support quarterly and annual regulatory filings and perform monthly account reconciliations
  • Partner with audit teams to ensure timely and accurate statutory audits
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the insurance industry
  • Proficiency with accounting systems and strong Excel skills
  • Familiarity with Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP) and insurance regulatory requirements is a plus
  • CPA or equivalent professional designation is a bonus
