Job Summary
A company is looking for an Insurance Verification Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify patient insurance coverage for therapy benefits and communicate details to patients and staff
- Advise patients on financial responsibilities and maintain daily reports for authorizations and scheduling
- Provide excellent customer service by answering incoming calls and ensuring patient confidentiality
Required Qualifications and Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel formulas
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Preferred experience in medical insurance claims, verification, or precertification
