Job Summary
A company is looking for a Lead Intake & Insurance Verification Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtain and verify complete insurance information and manage the prior authorization process
- Coordinate referrals with physicians' offices and the sales team during the insurance verification process
- Document all communications related to patient insurance and financial responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in medical billing, insurance verification, or call center roles
- Experience managing cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with payors and prior authorization requirements
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship
