Job Summary
Insurance Verification Coordinator is a full-time, remote position responsible for verifying patient insurance coverage, managing benefit communications, and maintaining reports to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify patient insurance coverage for therapy benefits and communicate details to patients and staff
- Advise patients on financial responsibilities and maintain daily reports for authorizations
- Provide excellent customer service through prompt and professional communication
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience in medical insurance claims, verification, or precertification preferred
- Familiarity with online insurance verification tools and office procedures preferred
