A company is looking for an Insurance Verification Operations Lead (1099).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily insurance verification operations, ensuring timely and prioritized verifications
• Provide guidance to the insurance verification team, maintaining consistent performance and best practices
• Act as a subject-matter expert on insurance denials, collaborating with external partners to resolve issues

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in insurance verification, prior authorization, and/or revenue cycle management
• Experience in overseeing insurance verification functions or teams, including performance monitoring and process improvement
• Advanced technical proficiency, particularly in Excel
• Strong understanding of payor behavior and denial drivers
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced startup environment
