Insurance Verification Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Verification Representative to perform patient registration and verify insurance coverage while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient registration and pre-registration of scheduled accounts
• Verify insurance coverage, collect co-payments, and provide receipts
• Notify patients of insurance coverage issues and assist with account creation and scheduling

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of medical insurance verification experience
• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and internet
• General knowledge of ICD 10, CPT, and HCPCS codes, and medical billing processes
