Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Insurance Verification Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance information for accuracy and eligibility, including direct contact with patients and physician offices
• Obtain and enter authorizations from insurance companies, ensuring all required details are included in the patient accounting system
• Calculate and communicate estimated co-pays and co-insurance amounts to patients, adhering to financial policies

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Strong customer service experience required
• A/R, billing, or insurance verification experience is required
• Previous experience with calculating out-of-pocket expenses for patients
• Healthcare experience is a must
