Insurance Verification Representative

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time Associate Insurance Verification Representative will verify patient insurance information, obtain authorizations, and communicate financial policies while ensuring compliance with healthcare guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and document findings in the patient accounting system
• Obtain and enter authorizations from insurance companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Calculate and communicate estimated co-pays and co-insurance amounts to patients

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Strong customer service experience required
• A/R, billing, or insurance verification experience preferred
• Healthcare experience is a must
