Insurance Verification Representative

Job Summary

To support patient-centered care in a remote environment, the full-time Insurance Verification Representative will verify insurance eligibility and benefits, obtain authorizations for outpatient services, and ensure accurate patient account information while collaborating with healthcare teams.

Key responsibilities

• Complete insurance verification and authorization tasks in a timely manner to support patient satisfaction and service delivery
• Educate patients and healthcare staff on insurance-related inquiries and the authorization process
• Maintain productivity standards and assist in process improvement initiatives within the department

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of insurance authorization and referral guidelines
• Computer literacy, with experience in EPIC scheduling and registration preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment under pressure
