Insurance Verification Representative

Job Summary

To support the revenue cycle, the part-time Insurance Verification Representative will manage pre-registration, insurance verification, and patient demographic updates while ensuring compliance with payor requirements in a virtual setting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre-registration and insurance verification for inpatient and outpatient services
• Contact patients to confirm or obtain missing demographic information and provide appointment instructions
• Document benefit and authorization information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1 or more years of experience in hospital Patient Access required
• No specific license or certification required
