Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Verification Auth Specialist Special Srvc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identifying and securing financial resources for complex surgeries and procedures
• Verifying insurance information and processing referrals and authorizations
• Communicating Advance Beneficiary Notice and resolving pre-service authorization denials

Required Qualifications:

• Two years of pre-authorization or referral coordinator experience
• Two years of experience in insurance billing, admitting, or registration
• Medical Terminology proficiency by examination
• One year of post high school business or college course work preferred
• National Association of Healthcare Access Management Certification (NAHAM) preferred
