Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Verification Specialist- Remote.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and resolve uncollected account balances by contacting payors and patients
  • Document account activities and maintain productivity goals while ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Assist with special projects and communicate any issues or trends affecting accounts
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in business administration or accounting preferred
  • 1-4 years of experience in medical claims and/or hospital collections
  • Basic knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute
