Job Summary

A company is looking for a PFS Enterprise Insurance Verifier.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintains productivity and accuracy standards in verifying patient healthcare benefits
  • Acts as a liaison between physicians, patients, and insurance to secure necessary authorizations
  • Ensures timely precertification and authorization processes while updating patient accounts in the system
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: High School diploma or GED
  • Experience: Three years in a hospital or healthcare facility in registration, patient accounts, or physician billing
  • Combination of experience and education may be considered (AA Degree = one year; Bachelor's Degree = two years)
  • Strong knowledge of insurance authorization and precertification processes is preferred
  • Proficient in Epic or similar electronic health record systems
