Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Verification Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify patient insurance information and treatment coverage
• Communicate with patients regarding co-pays, benefits, and care authorization
• Assist billing department in resolving denied claims and document patient account actions

Required Qualifications

• Two to four years of experience in insurance verification
• Two to four years of experience in medical billing
• Two to four years of experience in authorizations
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD10 codes
• Must successfully pass a background check
