Insurance Verification Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Verification Specialist to obtain and verify insurance information for patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and verify insurance eligibility and document information in the system
• Perform prior authorizations and collect necessary clinical information
• Handle inbound calls and resolve claim rejections related to eligibility and coverage

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma with 1+ years of medical billing or insurance verification experience
• Bachelor's degree in a related field can substitute for experience
• Experience with payors and prior authorization preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship
• Able to work remotely Monday - Friday, 12:00 - 9:00 p.m. EST
