Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Verification Follow-Up Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify health insurance benefits and follow up on claim statuses
• Identify and resolve outstanding issues preventing claim resolution
• Handle patient disputes and perform other assigned activities

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma is required
• Minimum one year of experience in medical billing and insurance follow-up
• Experience in a hospital or agency environment with a track record in billing and reimbursement
• Experience working with EPIC
• Strong background in Medicare and Medicaid claims processing and reimbursement
