Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Specialist to manage insurance verification and related tasks for patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and determine the accuracy of financial, insurance, and demographic information for patients
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefit information, ensuring all requirements are met
  • Resolve issues related to primary insurance and coordination of benefits (COB) information
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Two years of experience in healthcare insurance eligibility, verification, or billing
  • Knowledge of insurance coverage, COB rules, and processing procedures
  • Experience with EPIC and familiarity with ICD-10 medical terminology preferred
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office products
