Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Verification Specialist to obtain and verify insurance information and manage prior authorizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain and verify insurance eligibility and document information in the system
• Perform prior authorizations and collaborate with physician offices and insurance companies
• Resolve claim rejections and handle inbound calls from patients and providers

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma with 1+ years of medical billing or insurance verification experience
• Bachelor's degree in a related field can substitute for experience
• Experience with payors and prior authorization is preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship
