Job Summary

A company is looking for a Self Pay/Insurance Verification Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate patient statements and manage outstanding balances through various communication methods
  • Research patient financial responsibilities and handle inbound calls regarding Self Pay Accounts Receivable
  • Verify insurance information and ensure timely processing of credit card payments
Required Qualifications
  • Healthcare billing experience is required
  • Experience in medical office insurance verification is required
  • Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9/10 codes is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with billing software systems is preferred
  • Cooperative work attitude and ability to promote a favorable company image
