Job Summary
A company is looking for a Self Pay/Insurance Verification Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate patient statements and manage outstanding balances through various communication methods
- Research patient financial responsibilities and handle inbound calls regarding Self Pay Accounts Receivable
- Verify insurance information and ensure timely processing of credit card payments
Required Qualifications
- Healthcare billing experience is required
- Experience in medical office insurance verification is required
- Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9/10 codes is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with billing software systems is preferred
- Cooperative work attitude and ability to promote a favorable company image
