A company is looking for an Insurance Verification and Appeals Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify patient eligibility and specific DME policy inclusions/exclusions
• Initiate pre-service appeals for denied prior authorizations and coordinate referrals
• Document interactions in the CRM system while adhering to regulatory guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the healthcare industry with knowledge of Medicare guidelines
• Strong organizational skills and computer competency
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
