Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Verification Specialist to help patients access necessary medications and therapies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct benefit investigations by verifying patient insurance information and navigating reimbursement barriers
  • Document and initiate prior authorization processes and claims appeals while ensuring compliance with company standards
  • Act as a liaison between healthcare providers, patients, and field representatives to facilitate communication and support
Required Qualifications
  • In-depth understanding and experience with Major Medical & Pharmacy Benefit Coverage
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in benefit investigation and analysis of insurance coverage
  • 2 to 3 years of experience interacting with healthcare providers regarding health insurance plan requirements
  • Salesforce system experience preferred
