Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Verification Specialist - Specialty Pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct benefit investigations and verify patient insurance coverage through communication with payers
• Document and initiate prior authorization processes and claims appeals while identifying coverage restrictions
• Act as a liaison between healthcare providers, field representatives, and patients to facilitate access to medications

Required Qualifications

• In-depth understanding and experience with Major Medical & Pharmacy Benefit Coverage
• 2 to 3 years of benefit investigation experience involving analysis of insurance coverage
• 2 to 3 years of experience interacting with healthcare providers regarding health insurance plan requirements
• Salesforce system experience preferred
