A company is looking for an Insurance Verification Specialist 2 (Authorization Specialist).

Key Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for patient accounts, ensuring timely financial clearance
• Complete necessary payor forms and coordinate clinical documentation submission for authorizations
• Interpret complex payer coverage information and assist with workflow management for optimal department results

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• 2 years of healthcare or customer service experience or education equivalency
• Ability to meet performance standards of production, accuracy, and quality
• Understanding of payer guidelines by plan and service type
• Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
