Job Summary

Verifying insurance coverage for patients, the full-time remote Insurance Verification Specialist will manage disputed self-pay accounts, confirm eligibility using various systems and portals, and electronically bill claims once verified.

Key responsibilities

• Review disputed self-pay accounts and confirm patient eligibility for insurance coverage
• Make calls to various payers to verify eligibility and claim status
• Update host systems with coverage information and electronically bill verified claims

Required qualifications

• Knowledge of EPIC is a plus
• Prior experience with updating coverage, registration, and electronic billing
• Experience in insurance claim follow-up
• Ability to work through payer portals and host systems
• Strong data entry skills
