Job Summary
To support a growing digital clinic, the full-time Insurance Verification and Patient Support Specialist will oversee the frontend billing process, including eligibility verification and patient insurance updates, while working remotely from AZ, ID, NV, OR, UT, or WA.
Key responsibilities:
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for new patient enrollments and communicate findings to patients
- Assist Enrollment and Care Navigator teams with complex insurance verification issues and maintain accurate billing records
- Act as the first point of contact for patient inquiries and collaborate with other teams to address coverage lapses and financial assistance needs
Required qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in healthcare billing, insurance verification, and accounts receivable
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD coding
- Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
- High ethical standards and ability to maintain composure under pressure
