Insurance Verification Specialist

Job Summary

To support patient care, the remote Insurance Verification Specialist will verify insurance coverage, obtain authorizations, and document patient data in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Key responsibilities

• Verify insurance companies and primary care physicians to obtain benefit information
• Obtain referrals and authorizations from primary care physicians as needed
• Document insurance details and patient data accurately in the EMR

Required qualifications

• Customer service experience
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred
• Bilingual in English/Spanish
