Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Insurance Verification Specialist will manage the verification of customers' insurance for various medical supplies, ensuring accurate account setup and processing of incoming tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Verify all insurance products and assist patients with inquiries regarding their accounts
• Process incoming verification tasks, prescriptions, referrals, and insurance changes while building and maintaining client accounts
• Research insurance guidelines and submit reports to management as needed

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Medical Billing role focused on patient insurance verification and account setup
• 2+ years of medical billing coding experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Proficiency in using computer systems for record-keeping and task management
• Demonstrated ability to follow multi-step procedures with attention to detail
