Job Summary
A company is looking for an Insurance Verifier for an Infusion Clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify eligibility of insurance and input/update insurance information accurately
- Obtain and document pre-authorization information for scheduled and emergent patients
- Communicate verification issues and relevant information to appropriate departments in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- 2 Year / Associate Degree or equivalent experience
- 1.5 years of related experience in healthcare
- Proficiency in various computer programs and insurance verification systems
- Knowledge of billing requirements from third-party insurers
- Ability to adapt to changes and continue education requirements
