Job Summary
To prepare students for professional placement as Insurance Virtual Assistants, the part-time online Insurance Virtual Assistant Instructor will mentor students and facilitate learning in the INS 101 course, focusing on key insurance concepts and core VA tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate the teaching and learning process for the INS 101 course in an online environment
- Guide students in developing knowledge and skills related to Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance
- Support students in earning the Insurance Virtual Assistant Badge through scenario-based instruction and applied workflow practice
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
- Five years of professional experience in the insurance industry
- Previous online and/or classroom teaching experience is helpful but not required
- Ability to meet the eligibility requirements set by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
- Access to a personal iOS or Android device for potential WhatsApp course assignments
