Intake Admissions Specialist

Job Summary

To support patient transitions to home care services, the full-time Intake Admissions Specialist will manage daily patient referral operations, communicate with referral sources, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while working remotely from Kettering, OH.

Key responsibilities

• Process all daily patient referral and intake operations
• Coordinate care by working with multiple service providers and obtaining physician orders as needed
• Follow up with patients regarding Start of Care (SOC) and services provided to measure satisfaction

Required qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent healthcare/home care experience required
• Two years of healthcare experience, with one year in home care preferred
• Experience in Medical Terminology is preferred
• Knowledge of government regulations and private payer practices
• Ability to meet all physical demands of the role
