Job Summary
A company is looking for an Intake Coordinator to provide customer service and manage preauthorization inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and respond to incoming calls from members, providers, and other stakeholders
- Complete pre-authorizations and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Make outbound calls to gather necessary information for utilization review and referrals to Care Management
Required Qualifications
- Experience in medical office, insurance, or health-related customer service
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams and Outlook
- Experience working successfully in a remote environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate flexibility
