Job Summary

A company is looking for an Intake Coordinator to provide customer service and manage preauthorization inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and respond to incoming calls from members, providers, and other stakeholders
  • Complete pre-authorizations and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Make outbound calls to gather necessary information for utilization review and referrals to Care Management
Required Qualifications
  • Experience in medical office, insurance, or health-related customer service
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams and Outlook
  • Experience working successfully in a remote environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate flexibility
