Intake Coordinator

Job Summary

To support a growing Transformative Care Center team, the full-time Intake Coordinator will serve as the first point of contact for patients, guiding them through their care journey by answering questions, scheduling appointments, and verifying insurance, all while working remotely from the Chicagoland area.

Key responsibilities

• Manage patient scheduling across multiple clinics and providers to ensure optimal appointment flow
• Educate patients on available treatments and coordinate care transitions while maintaining confidentiality
• Collaborate with clinic teams to ensure seamless communication and enhance service quality

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare, call center, or patient access environment
• Proven ability to manage a high call volume and maintain service quality under pressure
• Experience with EMR systems, insurance verification, and scheduling workflows
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
