Intake Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Intake Specialist to manage new patient referrals and coordinate care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate start-of-care visits by collecting information from pharmacies and patients, matching nurses to patients, and confirming logistics
• Communicate with specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients through various channels to ensure a seamless experience
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to complete visit documentation and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience with medical scheduling
• Ability to utilize multiple technology platforms simultaneously
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience in the healthcare industry, preferably with infusion therapy or specialty pharmacy
• Ability to work weekends as part of the regular schedule
