Job Summary

A company is looking for an Intake Specialist to manage patient referrals and documentation in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter referrals accurately and within established timeframes, meeting productivity and quality standards
  • Communicate with referral sources and ensure proper documentation is routed for physician signatures
  • Work with local branch leadership to provide appropriate inventory and services while assisting with regional team functions
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • One year of experience in health care administrative, financial, or insurance customer services, claims, billing, or call center roles
  • Experience in a Medicare certified HME, IV, or HH environment is preferred
  • Proficiency in navigating multiple online EMR systems
  • Understanding of payer guidelines and compliance standards
