Job Summary

A company is looking for an Intake Specialist to manage patient referrals and documentation in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter referrals accurately and timely while meeting productivity and quality standards
• Communicate with referral sources and patients regarding documentation and financial responsibilities
• Collaborate with local branch leadership and sales teams to ensure compliance and facilitate the referral process

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• One (1) year of relevant experience in healthcare administration, financial services, or insurance customer service
• Experience in a Medicare certified HME, IV, or HH environment is preferred
• Proficient in navigating multiple online EMR systems
• Knowledge of payer guidelines and clinical documentation compliance
