Job Summary

A company is looking for an Intake Specialist who will manage patient referrals and documentation efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter referrals and ensure timely communication with referral sources and physicians
• Review medical records for compliance and assist with inventory/service coordination
• Navigate multiple EMR systems and work with verification and sales teams to facilitate the referral process

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• One year of related work experience in healthcare administration, financial services, or customer service
• Experience in a Medicare certified HME, IV, or HH environment is preferred
• Proficiency in using technology and multiple online systems
• Understanding of payer guidelines and clinical documentation
