Intake Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Intake Specialist who will manage patient referrals and documentation in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter referrals accurately and within established timeframes, meeting productivity and quality standards
• Communicate with referral sources and patients regarding documentation and financial responsibilities
• Collaborate with local branch leadership and sales teams to ensure appropriate inventory and services are provided

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• One year of relevant work experience in healthcare administration, customer service, or related fields
• Experience in a Medicare certified HME, IV, or HH environment is preferred
• Familiarity with payer guidelines and clinical documentation
• Ability to navigate multiple online EMR systems
