Intake Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Intake Specialist to manage patient referrals and coordinate start-of-care visits.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate start-of-care visits by collecting information from pharmacies and patients, matching nurses to patients, and confirming logistics
• Communicate proactively with specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients through various channels to ensure a seamless experience
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to complete visit documentation and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience with medical scheduling
• Ability to utilize multiple technology platforms simultaneously
• Ability to manage inbound communication while supporting other tasks
• Proficiency in medical terminology and policies is preferred
• Previous experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in infusion therapy or specialty pharmacy, is desirable
