Job Summary

A company is looking for an Intake Specialist to manage patient referrals and coordinate services.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter referrals and communicate with referral sources and patients regarding documentation and financial responsibilities
• Supervise team operations, provide training, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Work with leadership and sales teams to facilitate the referral process and manage patient documentation

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field preferred
• One year of work-related experience in healthcare administration, customer service, or related fields
• Experience in healthcare organizations or services that bill insurance is preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Medicare guidelines and payer policies
• Proficiency with healthcare software applications and EMR systems
