Job Summary
Providing lead work and subject matter expertise, the full-time Intake Specialist will offer technical support and training while managing financial records and ensuring dispute completeness in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a lead staff member and subject matter expert for Dispute Resolution Analysts and Clerks
- Review documentation and communicate with insurance carriers and providers as necessary
- Analyze medical billings for appropriate payment classifications and resolve processing issues
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Four years of general office experience, with education in administration, business, or related areas potentially substituting for experience
- Experience in general accounting is preferred
- Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred
