Intake Specialist

Job Summary

Providing exceptional customer service, the full-time remote Intake Specialist (Outbound) will make outgoing calls to patients, schedule appointments across multiple locations, and document requests while ensuring a positive experience for patients and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Make outgoing calls to patients and schedule various appointment types
• Document and confirm requested appointments while maintaining professional communication
• Manage incoming faxes and triage general inquiry calls from referral sources

Required qualifications

• High school education or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in customer service, call center, or working with medical records/insurance
• Preferred good fit for the job as determined by the Talent Sorter assessment
