Intake Specialist

Job Summary

To support patient access to care, the fully remote Intake Specialist will coordinate referrals, review clinical documentation, and ensure accurate service setup while collaborating with patients, providers, and internal teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical records and payer guidelines to determine patient eligibility and compliance prior to service delivery
• Communicate with patients regarding financial responsibilities and document interactions accurately
• Coordinate with referral sources and clinical teams to obtain complete and compliant documentation

Required qualifications

• One (1) year of relatable work experience required
• High School Diploma or Associate's degree in a relatable field, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration required
• Experience in management, administrative, clerical, insurance, billing, claims, call center, or customer service preferred
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and healthcare systems
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures and directives
