Job Summary
To support patient access to care, the fully remote Intake Specialist will coordinate referrals, review clinical documentation, and ensure accurate service setup while collaborating with patients, providers, and internal teams.
Key responsibilities
- Review medical records and payer guidelines to determine patient eligibility and compliance prior to service delivery
- Communicate with patients regarding financial responsibilities and collect payments when applicable
- Coordinate with referral sources and clinical teams to obtain complete and compliant documentation
Required qualifications
- One (1) year of relatable work experience required
- High School Diploma or Associate's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience
- Experience in administrative, clerical, insurance, billing, or customer service preferred
- Familiarity with healthcare organizations, pharmacies, or medical supply environments is a plus
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and healthcare systems
