Intake Specialist

Job Summary

As a key player in operations, the full-time Intake Specialist will manage new patient referrals and coordinate timely start-of-care visits remotely, ensuring effective communication and seamless care delivery between specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate start of care visits by collecting information from pharmacies and patients, matching nurses to patients, and managing logistics
• Communicate proactively with specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients through various channels to ensure a smooth experience
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to complete visit documentation and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Required qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with medical scheduling
• Ability to utilize multiple technology platforms simultaneously
• Proficiency in typing at least 60 words per minute with high accuracy
• Exceptional customer service skills and critical thinking abilities
• Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly with medical terminology and policies, is highly desirable
